Artist Statement:

As the opening of The Invisible series, Effort seeks to honor the unseen force within each subject—their desires, convictions, and sacrifices. The focus is on each individuals humanity— by pausing for a moment to recognize the invisible drive that “might” bridge the gap between ourselves and what we desire. To take note of the invisible forces in and around us. To understand “What is best in us often lives unseen, sometimes known only to ourselves… and sometimes not even then”.
